1. Question: WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
Answer: Depending on the scope, I can turn projects around rapidly (24 to 48 Business hours). The length of the project and amount of production needed (music, sfx, file splitting etc.) will typically require a bit more time. Let’s talk about it!
2. Question: What are your rates?
Answer: Again, it depends on the scope of the project. My rates are reasonable and competitive referencing the Global Voice Acting Academy (GVAA) Rate Guide. The rates are based on 4 things
1. Your Budget
2. Genre & how it’s used.
3. Length of recording (word total or time based)
4. Duration – (How long it will be used)
There are some additional costs that will need to be factored in such as, full production using music and sound effects, Revisions, pickups, etc. Once all these are factored, we can negotiate based on your total project.
3.Question: How long have you been doing this?
Answer: I have worked in broadcast media for 40 years. During that time, I have produced thousands of commercials and other broadcast programs. I started voicing “stuff” in my early teens when I became fascinated with the art of recording sounds. To this day I am still fascinated and learn more every day.
4.Question: Whats it like working with you?
Answer: FUN, EASY, I value my clients like they are family (not the weird uncle). After working in theatre for a few years I have been told that “I take direction very well”. You can’t hurt my feelings if there is something you don’t like. I know you have in your head the exact sound you are looking for and I can’t hear it. So I will rely on you to help me bring your vision to life. My aim and passion is to give you or your clients exactly what they want to hear.
